- Full-time, Nights (3x12-hour shifts per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a 23-bed Med Surg unit during night shifts.
- Manage PICC lines and start IVs, demonstrating clinical expertise.
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including to affiliate hospitals as required.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, including charting with Cerner and maintaining competency with required certifications.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, including holiday coverage and RTO restrictions.
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license (or in process with ETA).
- Minimum of 1 year of hospital nursing experience, preferably in Med Surg.
- BLS and NIH certifications.
- Experience with PICC line management and starting IVs.
- Ability to work night shifts and rotate weekends.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous charge nurse experience.
- Familiarity with Cerner charting system.
- Red Cross or AHA certifications; RQI certifications not accepted.
