Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting during surgical procedures.
• Float to other clinically appropriate units within scope of practice as needed.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and patient care protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and procedures.
• Adhere to all licensing, certification, and training requirements for assigned units.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Ability to float within hospital units as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a CVOR or surgical nursing environment.
• Additional certifications such as PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, or CSU-ALS are beneficial.
• Knowledge of hospital emergency protocols and patient safety procedures.
