• Night shifts, Full-time, 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to neuro and stepdown patients in a specialized cardiovascular unit.
• Utilize NIHSS assessment skills for neurological evaluations.
• Document and update patient records accurately within the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.
• Maintain thorough documentation, including certifications and profile updates.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
• Valid nursing license verified via Nursys.
• Certification in ACLS required.
• NIHSS certification required and must be documented in CV packet.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
• Ability to work 8-hour night shifts with no block scheduling.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong Med/Surg background with NIHSS, ACLS, and stepdown experience.
• Experience working with neurological patients.
• Familiarity with hospital protocols in an acute care setting.
