Key Responsibilities
• Manage documentation for initial and reappointment applications across multiple facilities.
• Perform administrative tasks and verifications in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Initiate reappointment processes and coordinate appointment scheduling based on departmental needs.
• Enter and maintain accurate data in provider databases and credentialing systems.
• Verify credentials through primary sources such as hospital affiliations, professional references, licensing boards, and credentialing databases.
• Prepare credential files for sign-off by leadership and review at credentialing committee meetings.
• Track credentialing information through various committees and maintain comprehensive reports.

Required Qualifications
• 1-3+ years of relevant experience in healthcare credentialing or human resources.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Active BLS certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with Cerner or similar healthcare IT systems.
• Knowledge of telemetry and labor & delivery credentialing, ACLS certification preferred.
