Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 4 days per week

Key Responsibilities
• Circulate in the operating room, documenting and caring for patients during surgical procedures
• Prepare sterile surgical sites, insert catheters, and set up operating room equipment
• Assist with positioning patients and managing surgical supplies in a sterile environment
• Document procedures accurately within electronic health record systems
• Utilize advanced surgical equipment including cautery, lasers, laparoscopic tools, and navigation systems

Required Qualifications
• 2+ years recent OR RN experience in a large hospital setting (250+ beds, Level 1 trauma)
• Experience with a variety of surgical cases including General, Neuro, Orthopedics, GYN, and Urology
• Proficiency with robotic surgery (DaVinci preferred) and neuro/orthopedic navigation systems
• Valid RN license (ND or Compact) and BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in an acute care facility with 15 or more OR suites
• Familiarity with electronic charting systems similar to EPIC
• Ability to work flexible hours with rotating call and shift extensions

Additional Notes
• No outpatient center experience considered.
• Must be willing to float to adjacent units/departments as needed, with rare assignments to other campuses.
• All clinicians are required to badge in and out and wear provided scrubs in Ceil Blue.
• Travel considerations: local travel rate applies for candidates living within 80 miles; rate reduced by $8/hour for those living 60-80 miles.
• Candidates with prior employment at Sanford Health must have an end date at least 6 months before submitting.
