Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days shift, 8-hour shifts, with rotating call; 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Circulating in the operating room, documenting and caring for patients during surgical procedures
- Sterile prepping of surgical sites, catheter insertion, opening sterile supplies, and patient positioning
- Setting up and utilizing operating room equipment, including laparoscopic tools, cautery, lasers, and navigation systems
- Documenting procedures within electronic record systems, following protocols similar to EPIC
- Assisting with various surgical cases including General, Neuro, Orthopedic, GYN, and Urology
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent OR RN experience in a large hospital setting (250+ beds, level 1 trauma)
- Experience with neuro and ortho procedures, including navigation systems
- RN license (ND or Compact)
- BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with robotic surgery, specifically DaVinci systems
- Strong neuro and orthopedic surgical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment
