• Shifts: Days, 10.5 hours per shift, 4 shifts per week, on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room setting for orthopedic and trauma orthopedic cases.
• Assist with procedures such as arthroscopies, total joints, and orthopedic trauma surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic health record system.
• Adhere to hospital safety standards and dress code (hospital scrubs).
• Participate in on-call shifts as scheduled.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience.
• Orthopedic and trauma orthopedic experience required.
• Current BLS certification.
• TNCC or TCAR certification required and must include with submission packet.
• Ability to work 10.5-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with advanced orthopedic procedures.
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation system.
• Strong team collaboration skills.
