• Full-time, 13-week contract, daytime shifts, on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac ICU patients with high acuity levels
• Manage patients requiring ECMO, RVAD/LVAD, Impella, IABP, and dialysis therapies
• Monitor and respond to patient needs, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies and procedures
• Adapt quickly to a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, demonstrating problem-solving skills

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse license
• Minimum 1 year of cardiology or ICU nursing experience
• Experience with ECMO, RVAD/LVAD, Impella, IABP, or dialysis device management
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts without call responsibilities
• Strong self-management skills and comfort with autonomous problem-solving

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in open-heart recovery and cardiac procedures such as CABG and valve surgeries
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
• Ability to handle a high-stakes environment with flexibility and teamwork
• Effective communication skills and ability to receive and provide constructive feedback
