• Full-time, Night shift (3x12 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on the Step Down Unit, including ventilator management, vasopressor titration, insulin drips, and other critical care procedures.
• Monitor and adjust ventilator settings, titrate pressors, and manage insulin drips in a fast-paced acute care environment.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately within the facility’s charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Float within scope to lower acuity floors when required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri or compact state (license must be in-hand at submission).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent bedside experience in an ICU, IMC, PCU, or stepdown setting.
• Experience with ventilator management, titration of pressors, insulin drips, and advanced critical care procedures.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend.
• Must have been actively practicing at the bedside within the last 6 months.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC charting system experience.
• Experience managing external pacemakers, chest tubes, and arterial lines.
• Flexibility to accommodate block scheduling and floating within hospital units.
