Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Stepdown/PCU unit with mixed acuity, caring for medical, surgical, and post-surgical patients
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias, respond to rapid response and code situations
• Administer IV therapies, blood products, and manage central lines and PICC lines
• Support respiratory needs and wound care for pre- and post-surgical patients
• Collaborate within a teaching hospital environment, floating within the OSU organization as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent progressive care or PCU/Stepdown experience
• Ohio RN license (or valid compact license)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification
• Ability to float within the organization as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry, dysrhythmia management, IV therapy, and blood products
• Knowledge of heparin protocols, respiratory support, wound care, and surgical patient care
• Previous work in a teaching hospital setting is a plus
