• Contract, Night shift (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels as needed.
• Provide care in various departments including General Surgery, Trauma, Vascular, Wound, and Plastics.
• Rely on established patient ratios, typically 1 nurse to 4-5 patients.
• Deliver high-quality nursing care during overnight hours, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Utilize telemetry, IV starts, and intermediate skills efficiently.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, and intermediate skills.
• Prior experience with Epic electronic health record system.
• Valid state or compact nursing license in hand at the time of submission.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital setting, particularly in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry units.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different units and personnel.

Additional Details

• Shift hours are from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Travel compliance is mandatory; candidates outside Ohio within driving distance must complete fingerprinting in Ohio ASAP.
• Immediate availability and responsiveness to credentialing requirements are crucial.
• RTO requests prior to booking must be specified.
• References: Two professional references required, including at least one from a managerial or supervisory role.
