Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 36 hours/week, every other weekend, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care in a Stepdown/PCU setting for a diverse patient population
• Monitor and manage patients with various medical diagnoses, including pre- and post-surgical cases
• Interpret telemetry and manage dysrhythmias; respond rapidly to urgent situations
• Administer IV therapy, blood products, and manage central lines and PICC ports
• Support respiratory needs and wound care; collaborate with rapid response and code teams
• Document clinical care and ensure compliance with hospital protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent progressive care experience in a similar PCU/Stepdown setting
• Ohio state license in good standing or valid compact license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Ability to float within the organization as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Knowledge of heparin protocols, respiratory support, and post-surgical patient care
• Prior teaching hospital experience is a plus
