Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) lab.
• Assist with and monitor cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Float between Cath, IR, and EP units as needed.
• Attend orientation sessions and comply with unit policies.
• Work scheduled 10-hour days, typically from 0700 to 1730, with occasional extended hours to finish cases.
• Participate in weekend on-call rotation, including 1-2 times per week and every 3rd to 4th weekend.
• Cover holidays based on unit needs.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab nursing experience.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to float across Cath, IR, and EP units.
• Must be comfortable with shift work, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.
• No new graduates accepted; prior specialized cath lab experience required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a clinical environment that handles complex cardiac procedures.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record systems.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
