Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and IMC/Stepdown units
- Maintain a patient nurse ratio of approximately 1:5
- Perform IV starts and telemetry monitoring
- Document patient information using the Epic system
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
- Adapt to a rotating schedule, including occasional weekends and holidays
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PCU or similar unit
- Valid and current State of Ohio or Compact license
- ACLS and BCLS certifications required
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Willingness to complete fingerprinting and credentialing promptly
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience in similar units
- Experience with Epic documentation system
- Familiarity with Ohio fingerprinting process for compliance
