Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Liberty, MO
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center setting.
• Manage complex cases, including neuro and CTS patients, utilizing advanced clinical skills.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to stepdown/PCU units as needed to support staffing needs.
• Ensure compliance with facility protocols, including necessary certifications and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU RN experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience with EMR systems (Altera Sunrise or similar).

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• ICU experience in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center.
• Experience with CTS and Neuro patients.
• TNCC certification.

Additional Notes:

• Every third weekend and holiday shifts required.
• On-call responsibilities vary based on census and staffing.
• Orientation includes a multi-day program, both on days and clinical settings, with computer training.
• Shift cancellations are limited to one per pay period at no cost to staff, with minimum 2 hours’ notice.
