Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry inpatient setting.
• Administer medications, interpret laboratory results, and perform patient assessments.
• Document patient histories, allergies, vital signs, and medication reconciliation.
• Perform dressing changes and set up aseptic/sterile procedures.
• Collect and label specimens, including Capillary, Throat, Urine (UA), and perform Phlebotomy.
• Manage telephone triage, pharmacy calls, and patient refill requests.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care rehab experience.
• BLS certification; EPIC experience.
• Ability to interpret lab results, perform medication reconciliation, and conduct patient assessments.
• Ability to pass an EKG exam (2 attempts allowed).
• Clean criminal background; no open cases.
• Willingness to float between Cone Health campuses as needed.
• Must have current driver’s license and be within 50 miles of Greensboro, NC.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Inpatient rehab experience, especially with neurological conditions such as stroke, aneurysm, TBI, or spinal cord injury.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Strong patient assessment skills and ability to manage complex cases.
