Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Calais, ME
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days shift, 12-hour shifts, 1 shift per week
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in the Emergency Department
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the organization's mission, vision, and values
• Assess patient conditions accurately and document findings thoroughly
• Respond quickly and efficiently to emergency situations, acting with professionalism and competence
  Required Qualifications:
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Maine or Authorization to Practice pending licensure by endorsement
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification within six months of hire date
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills
• Ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment
  Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Previous emergency room nursing experience
• Ability to act rapidly and efficiently in high-pressure situations
