• Full-time, Days, 4x10-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care in an endoscopy/GI setting.
• Float between Cone Health’s Endoscopy Centers, including Annie Penn Hospital and Mebane Surgery Center.
• Collaborate with medical teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, procedural, and documentation protocols, including EPIC charting.
• Assist with procedures such as colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, ERCP, EUS, and capsule endoscopy.
• Adhere to call, on-call, and holiday coverage requirements as scheduled.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with portable/bedside travel cases, inpatient care, and pre/post-procedure nursing.
• EPIC electronic health record proficiency.
• Ability to float between multiple facilities within the system.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in endoscopy, GI procedures, or similar outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with endoscopic procedures such as ERCP, EUS, and capsule endoscopy.

Additional Details

• Shift times: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Call requirements: weekend call approximately every 6-7 weekends, weekday night call every 2 weeks.
• Holiday coverage may be required.
• Must meet compliance deadlines with full documentation prior to start.
• Travel to multiple facilities within Cone Health system required.
• Candidate must pass an EKG exam during compliance, with up to 2 attempts.
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted; a valid driver’s license must be provided to verify residency.
