Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 12-hour day shifts
- 7 shifts per week, typically on the dayshift schedule
- Shifts: Sunday-Wednesday, Monday-Thursday, or Friday-Monday (first come, first serve)
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a medical rehabilitation unit with a focus on recovery and functional improvement
- Monitor patient progress and update medical records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations
- Support patient education and discharge planning
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of New Mexico
- Experience in rehabilitation or medical rehab units preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts reliably
- Commitment to patient-centered care
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a medical rehabilitation setting
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and adapt to shift rotations
