Therapist Respiratory Therapist

Job Title

• Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position

Location

• Atlantis, FL

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel assignment
• Night shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory conditions such as asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema
• Operate and monitor respiratory therapy equipment including oxygen cylinders, nebulizers, suction machines, CPAP & BIPAP, V60, Servo-1, and Servo-U devices
• Document patient care activities using the Meditech system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in advanced procedures as needed
• Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain high standards of patient safety and care

Required Qualifications

• NBRC credential and valid RT license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum of 2 years current acute care hospital RRT experience
• Prior travel therapy assignment experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with stroke care
• Prior Meditech documentation experience (not required, but preferred)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Active disciplinary record clearance
