Key Responsibilities

• Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory conditions such as respiratory insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema.
• Operate and monitor advanced respiratory equipment, including Servo I ventilators, nebulizers, Hamilton, V60, Astral, CPAP, and BiPAP machines.
• Perform arterial blood gases (ABGs) and other respiratory procedures to assess patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments and treatment outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record system (Meditech).
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and support critical care interventions.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care hospital experience as an RRT.
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR system.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma care experience.
• Previous experience in neonatal intensive care units (NICU).
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience as a director is a plus.
