Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside patient care in a Stepdown, PCU, and IMC setting.
• Monitor and manage patients with chest tubes, trachs, and cardiac drips.
• Perform wound dressing changes and other procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner).
• Maintain high levels of clinical competence and flexibility to adapt to unit needs.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience working with patients with trachs.
• Valid nursing license.
• Ability to perform procedures such as chest tube management and trach care.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience using Cerner EMR.
• Experience working in med-surg, stepdown, or progressive care units.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and demonstrate high clinical competence.
