Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatments
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility policies and regulations
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health standards
- Educate residents and their families about care procedures and health management
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico
- Proven experience in long-term care or skilled nursing environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of medical procedures and documentation standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working 12-hour shifts or similar schedules
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- BLS and CPR certification
