- Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, Day shift (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM), working 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care and support to adult and pediatric patients in a hospital setting.
- Operate and monitor advanced respiratory equipment including vents, monitors, and high-flow oxygen devices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess patient needs and develop care plans.
- Administer treatments such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP procedures as required.
- Document patient care activities accurately within the electronic medical record system.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Respiratory License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NRP certification (preferred)
- Experience with adult critical care and pediatric/neonatal units
- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
