Registered Nurse - LTC/SNF

Beaver Dam, WI
Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, day shift, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility specializing in dementia, elderly, rehabilitation, and frail patients.
- Perform assessments, charting, and charge duties.
- Administer medications, including IVs, caths, and ostomy care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapy, social workers, and dietary staff.
- Document clinical activities accurately and timely.
- Support team operations during designated shifts, including floating as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Elderly care experience.
- Ability to manage IVs and titratable drips.
- Experience with elderly patient populations and common diagnoses.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Prior work experience in a nursing home or LTC/SNF setting.
- Familiarity with ECS electronic medical record system.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with diverse healthcare professionals.

Note: Candidates must be able to work scheduled days, participate in every other weekend rotation, and be available for at least half of the holidays. Prior employment with Marshfield requires a separation of at least 6 months before reapplication. All clinicians must clock in/out at the facility and adhere to dress code policies.
