Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions, including chemotherapy administration, blood transfusions, and IV therapies.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias; utilize rapid response teams as needed.
• Perform patient assessments, manage central and peripheral lines, and ensure infection prevention protocols are followed.
• Support patients with diagnoses such as lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma, sickle cell disease, and other hematologic or oncologic conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Louisiana or Compact State RN license in hand at submission.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Ability to perform IV therapy, blood product administration, and line management.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records, preferably EPIC.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Hematology/Oncology experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of chemotherapy procedures, oncologic emergencies, and infection control protocols.
• Certification in ACLS advantageous.
