Registered Nurse - Psychiatric
Location: Manchester, CT
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts (5x8s, 11pm - 7:30am), 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient behavioral health nursing care during night shifts.
- Monitor and assess patients with psychiatric conditions, ensuring safety and well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient status and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in acute inpatient behavioral health settings.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification.
- Epic electronic health record experience (transitioning from MediTech knowledge preferred).
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience working in psychiatric or mental health inpatient units.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Epic or MediTech.
