Key Responsibilities
• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a short-term acute care setting.
• Assess patient needs, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions.
• Float between units as required, maintaining flexibility across care areas.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, dress codes, and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
• Valid occupational therapy license in the state of Texas; compact license accepted.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
• Ability to work full shifts of 8 hours during the day shift.
• Must be able to work in an acute care hospital environment.
• Commitment to working 3 out of 5 designated holidays.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center or similar acute care facility.
• Familiarity with hospital protocols and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
