- Herrin, IL
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, with the possibility of floating to other Medical Surgical departments
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to individuals in a Medical Surgical setting
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical needs during night shifts
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of medical surgical nursing experience
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system (preferred)
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care environment
- Ability to float to other Medical Surgical departments as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
