Key Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive speech therapy services.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and therapy sessions.
• Comply with all state and agency-specific credentialing and background check requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (e.g., CCC-SLP or equivalent).
• State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in Delaware.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in a healthcare or public agency setting preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with pediatric or adult speech therapy.
• Knowledge of state-specific credentialing processes, including background checks.
• Bilingual abilities a plus but not required.
