Schedule / Job Type

• Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to medical surgical and telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Monitor patient vital signs and utilize remote monitoring systems
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health record systems
• Float to all Cone Health campuses as needed for patient care

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in the state of North Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical surgical or telemetry nursing experience
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Ability to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (must be aware of exam requirement and prepared)
• Must be flexible with scheduling and able to work nights

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse experience
• Remote monitoring experience in telemetry units
