Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and document patient status, including EKG data, and respond to acute changes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float as needed to various campus locations within the health system.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, including timely completion of required documentation and screenings.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and patient satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience, including telemetry.
• BLS certification mandatory; ACLS preferred.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ability to pass an EKG pass/fail exam during compliance.
• Must meet compliance requirements, including background check and education verification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse experience.
• Telemetry or remote monitoring experience.
• Flexibility to float across various campuses and units.
