Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care to adult patients in a Medical/Surgical unit, focusing on urology/nephrology.
• Monitor and respond to cardiac telemetry and emergency situations using rapid response teams.
• Manage pre/post-hemodialysis, renal failure cases, and related interventions.
• Administer IV therapies, including blood products, Heparin, and central line management.
• Implement and follow infection control protocols and wound care procedures.
• Document patient care and progress using Cerner electronic health records.

Required Qualifications
• Illinois RN license (active or in application process).
• Minimum of 18 months recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of RN experience preferred for travel candidates.
• Ability to work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Active IL license in hand at submission.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and emergency response procedures.
• Knowledge of genitourinary and renal cases, including dialysis management.
• Proficiency in IV therapy, blood draws, and central line care.
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic charting system.
