Job Title
• Therapist - Occupational Therapist

Location
• Gainesville, FL

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 6 weeks, 40 hours guaranteed, start date 04/07/2026, weekdays 8 AM - 5 PM, no weekend rotation

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct patient evaluations, develop and implement therapy plans, and provide instructions for activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Perform transfers and assist with functional training to improve patient mobility and independence
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and progress
• Utilize typical rehabilitation equipment such as balance and gait systems
• Document patient progress using Meditech (Expanse) system

Required Qualifications
• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Florida
• BLS certification
• Experience performing patient evaluations, therapeutic exercises, and functional training
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience in a hospital rehabilitation unit or similar fast-paced setting
• Adaptability to new hospital startup environments
• Strong documentation and communication skills
