Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and interpret patient data, including telemetry and ventilator status.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Perform advanced procedures such as IV starts, use of externalized IV pumps, and continuous glucose monitoring.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient information efficiently using the EPIC electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, specifically in Medical ICU (MICU).
• Proficient in using EPIC documentation system.
• Valid nursing license (compact or state license) in Ohio or eligible for licensure.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, AHA certifications (only).
• Experience with telemetry and ventilators.
• Strong competency in IV starts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Proficiency with NxStage CRRT, Alaris IV pumps, and GE monitors and ventilators.
• Experience managing multisystem organ failure, respiratory failure, COVID-19, sepsis, post-cardiac arrest cases, DKA, liver failure, and renal failure.
