Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including ECG rhythm recognition.
• Administer medications accurately and safely.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information thoroughly and promptly.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry.
• 18 months permanent experience in the specialty prior to assignment.
• Active Ohio state license or a valid Compact license.
• Up-to-date CPR/BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores during orientation.
• Must work at least every other holiday.
• Compliance with all health screening requirements, including a negative drug screen within the past 12 months.
• Completion of background checks and fingerprinting prior to start.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a hospital setting with Cleveland Clinic or similar healthcare system.
• Knowledge of hospital policies related to patient safety and documentation.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
