Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, day shift, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Administer radiation treatments to patients in accordance with physician prescriptions
- Operate and monitor radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively
- Document patient treatments accurately using electronic charting systems (Epic)
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and treatment plans
- Adapt to floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
- Work during major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) as required
Required Qualifications
- Valid California license in hand
- Certification in BLS and ARRT
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (additional experience preferred)
- Epic experience for charting and documentation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with radiation therapy in an acute care hospital setting
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to float between units and facilities when necessary
