• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location
• Seattle, WA
Schedule / Job Type
• Night shifts, 3 days per week (12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-acuity, high-volume labor and delivery care in a fast-paced environment
• Function as a Baby Nurse during delivery, monitoring fetal status and assisting with procedures
• Continuously care for newborns until transfer to postpartum, including assessments and administering injections such as Vitamin K and eye ointments
• Support postpartum and antepartum patients, including care for post-surgical and high-risk cases
• Float as needed to sister facilities supporting mother/baby units and postpartum care
Required Qualifications
• 3–5 years of recent experience in high-acuity obstetric and labor/delivery environments
• Current valid nursing license in respective state or active compact license
• Proven supervisory references and current certifications: BLS, NRP, and proof of required certifications
• Ability to pass clinical review and previous experience with electronic fetal monitoring (Epic Hardstop)
• Experience with high-risk pregnancies, postpartum, and antepartum care, including care for patients with magnesium sulfate, insulin, and heparin treatments
Preferred Experience / Skills
• 5+ years of high-risk obstetric experience preferred
• Certifications such as ACLS, AWHONN Advanced and Intermediate preferred
• Experience working with EPIC electronic medical records and adhering to AWHONN guidelines
