Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Night shift, 13-week travel assignment, 2 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Progressive Care Unit / Stepdown setting for adult patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including advanced pulmonary treatments and post-catheter care, such as TR band management
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech system
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care
• Perform medication titration and assist with patient education using communication tools like AIDET and communication boards

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a similar unit (IMC, PCU, Stepdown)
• Experience caring for patients requiring advanced pulmonary treatments and post-cath care, including TR band management
• Ability to work every other weekend and participate in floating rotations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Knowledge of GE monitors, Nova glucometers, and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Positive attitude, strong teamwork, and problem-solving skills
