Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting, adhering to hospital protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float between ICU and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed, ensuring seamless patient care coverage.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately using EPIC electronic health records.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and respond to emergencies promptly.

Required Qualifications

• ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) or higher degree.
• Current MA RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 2-5 years of ICU experience required; trauma level I experience preferred, but level II trauma experience may be considered.
• EPIC electronic record system experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Must be separated from BILH system for 6+ months (no current employees of BILH).
• Able to pass a licensure and skill test on the first day; failure may result in assignment termination.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in trauma level I or II settings.
• Flexibility to float to PCU.
• Strong assessment and emergency response skills.

Additional Information

• Contract guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call time).
