Job Title
• IR/Special Procedures Tech

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Day shift (Monday to Friday) with 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Perform interventional radiology and special procedures as part of a specialized medical team
• Adhere to scheduled call duties, including weekday and bimonthly weekend on-call rotations
• Ensure compliance with travel and licensing policies, including VA license requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting, preferably with Epic experience
• Collaborate with clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care during procedures
• Support float staffing within scope of practice and respond to unit-specific needs

Required Qualifications
• Valid state license in Virginia (or eligible to obtain with pending status) prior to start date
• ARRT certification (if applicable for Rad Tech roles)
• BLS certification required
• Ability to start work off VA temporary authorization if license is pending
• Compliance with travel and background policies

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in interventional radiology or special procedures
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Ability to float within scope of practice as needed
• Knowledge of specific clinical lab policies and procedures is a plus
