Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, day shifts, 4 days per week, 9-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments, including investigational protocols.
• Perform transfusions of blood, platelets, and fresh frozen plasma.
• Conduct port draws, phlebotomy, and central line access and care.
• Assist in procedural areas with bone marrow biopsy and aspiration, providing minimal analgesia and patient recovery.
• Monitor and manage toxicities related to chemotherapy and biotherapy.
• Oversee and care for patients with neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, anemia, and electrolyte abnormalities, including repletion.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient oncology nursing experience.
• Active VA or compact state nursing license.
• EPIC electronic charting experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-area clinic environment.
• Knowledge of managing chemotherapy, transfusions, and central line procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience with bone marrow biopsies and CAR-T patient care.
• Ability to float within scope as needed.
