• Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Schedule / Job Type

• Days shift, 4 shifts per week, full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) departments.
• Assist with and monitor invasive cardiac procedures, including TAVR, MITRACLIP, and peripheral interventions.
• Read and interpret cardiac strips; titrate medication drips as needed.
• Support emergent cases and collaborate with cardiologists, charge nurses, and the healthcare team.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, including drug screens and documentation.
• Utilize electronic medical records system to document patient care and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Illinois RN license or active application in process.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to read cardiac strips and assist with titration of medication drips.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology setting.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system and GE/Philips monitors.
• Knowledge of various cardiac diagnoses such as STEMI, NSTEMI, HF, congenital conditions.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and handle emergent cases.
