Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, full-time

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Utilize telemetry equipment and other medical devices to monitor patients’ vital signs and responses.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.

Required Qualifications
• Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that application has been initiated.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with central lines, tracheostomies, and chest tubes.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Familiarity with adult acute care medical-surgical patients.
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience in a Level I trauma center or travel nurse experience.
• Experience managing titratable IV drips such as Heparin and Lasix.
• Knowledge of ventilator equipment including Bipap/Cpap therapy.
