Full-time, night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent nursing care to patients in a telemetry/acute med-surg setting, utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication administration, and care provided accurately.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on health conditions and treatments, addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to other care providers to effectively manage patient care.
• Demonstrate leadership aligned with competencies of self-management, team leadership, and organizational leadership.

Required Qualifications

• RN license in the state of New Mexico or a compact license for multiple states.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a related specialty (preferred).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in general medical-surgical units, including orthopedics, behavioral health, OB surgical, and pediatrics.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system.
