Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type:
Night shift (3x12-Hour Shifts), full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to adult patients in a mixed acuity Medical Surgical and Oncology unit
• Monitor patient conditions using telemetry and other medical equipment
• Administer medications and treatments, including chemotherapy and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient history, assessments, and care plans accurately
• Support patient education and discharge planning

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio or Compact State Nursing License
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• At least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in Medical Surgical or Oncology settings
• Ability to float within units of similar or lower acuity levels

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Oncology experience preferred but not required
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
• Comfortable working with patients of diverse diagnoses, including blood cancers and solid tumors
• Willingness to participate in professional development opportunities, including chemotherapy training
