Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Level I Trauma Center's Medical Surgical unit.
• Demonstrate certified LVN / LPN skills with a focus on maintaining high-quality patient outcomes.
• Work within a team to deliver bedside nursing care, supporting patient safety and comfort.
• Comply with all facility protocols, including trauma experience for applicable cases.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to hospital standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid LVN / LPN license in the state or a compact license.
• Senior-level experience: 2+ years in Medical Surgical units.
• Certified in IV therapy (LPNIV) is a firm requirement.
• Recent experience in a Level I Trauma Center or large hospital setting.
• Ability to work night shifts and adhere to 12-hour shift schedule.
• Knowledge and experience with Cerner EHR system preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience (3+ assignments preferred).
• Experience working in a trauma or high-acuity hospital environment.
• Strong team collaboration skills and flexibility in float assignments.
• Demonstrated familiarity with on-call and holiday coverage requirements.
