Travel contract, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide palliative care focusing on symptom management and quality of life for patients with serious illnesses.
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels as needed.
• Support patients with uncontrolled pain, severe nausea, fatigue, and other symptoms to enhance comfort and well-being.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate end-of-life and symptom management care.
• Complete required documentation and adhere to all compliance protocols, including fingerprinting and credentialing processes.
• Ensure timely completion of all onboarding and credentialing prerequisites prior to assignments start date.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state or compact RN license in hand at time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably including travel or acute care.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
• Ability to float across units with similar or lower acuity levels.
• Successful completion of Ohio fingerprinting and background check by the specified deadline.
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited program.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred.
• Familiarity with end-of-life and palliative care settings.
• Ability to adapt to a new unit environment quickly.
