Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Palliative

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 12-hour Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, temporary travel assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate palliative care focused on symptom management and comfort for seriously ill patients.
• Support patients experiencing uncontrolled pain, nausea, fatigue, and other symptoms to improve quality of life.
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity during training and initial deployment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality end-of-life and symptom relief care.
• Adhere to safety and compliance protocols, including timely fingerprinting and credentialing requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio or Compact State RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Ability to float within units of similar or lower acuity.
• Willingness to start prior to unit opening with flexible assignments.
• Strong compliance with fingerprinting and travel documentation deadlines.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience.
• Experience in palliative or end-of-life care.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, especially EPIC.
