Key Responsibilities

• Provide palliative care focusing on symptom management for patients with serious illnesses, including pain control, nausea management, fatigue, and other comfort measures.
• Assist with end-of-life comfort care and improve patients' quality of life.
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and ensure compliance with all certification and credentialing requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate patient care.
• Ensure timely completion of credentialing processes, including fingerprinting and background checks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio or compact state RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous experience with EPIC EMR system.
• Ability to float within units of similar or lower acuity levels.
• Willingness to start prior to unit opening on 7/1 and float to inpatient units until the new unit is operational.
• Travel compliance and fingerprinting completion by deadline.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in palliative or hospice care.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
